Dirty Girl CSA is a small scale vegetable market garden owned and operated by Kirsten Anderson. We grow a wide variety of vegetables for CSA, farmers markets, and restaurants. We currently lease land in Peterborough and Weare, NH — with Peterborough being the home base. We plan on having roughly 2.5-3 acres in production for 2018, with another 2.5-3 acres in rotational cover crop. We are Certified Naturally Grown and strive to create the best conditions for soil health and fertility.
We are in the process of restructuring our business plan for 2018, focusing on what does well in our area & markets, as well as opening up possibilities to grow the business. We are looking for a compatible individual to fill the role of one of the following possibilities:
*Individual must be able to commit for the whole season. (March/April – October/November) Must be creative, detail oriented, have a positive attitude, and enjoy working on a small team. Must share a passion for the local food movement and small scale agriculture.
1.) Full time intern for the 2018 growing season. No experience necessary — must have desire to learn and an interest in regenerative agriculture. Intern will be trained in all aspects of growing and marketing. Monthly stipend and possible housing available.
2.) Full time employee for the 2018 growing season. Two years vegetable production experience preferred. Potential to build relationship to partial ownership of business. Responsibilities include: greenhouse management, field management, harvest management, and attending farmers market. Monthly salary with possible housing available.
3.) Business partner. Must have 3+ years growing experience, ability to invest, and commitment towards growth of the business. Shared management responsibilities with owner/operator.
